WHO informal consultation on a framework for scabies control, meeting report

MCRI made significant contributions to this recent document published by WHO resulting from an informal consultation to develop a framework for scabies control that includes community wide treatment. The framework provides recommendations for mapping and control strategies, research priorities and programmatic needs for scabies. While the document does not yet set WHO guidelines, the recommendations represent views of many experts and is designed to be used by countries as a framework for control activities.
